Meet Dr. Sarah Leontowich!

Sarah was raised in Airdrie, Alberta and has a lifelong love of animals of all shapes and sizes. When not at work Sarah spends her time riding her horses, hiking with her dogs, drawing and reading.

While working at a local barn she developed a passion for Veterinary Medicine, especially rehabilitation & preventative wellness. She attended Mount Royal University for her undergraduate before being accepted into the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. While Sarah loves working in the industry of veterinary medicine and providing services such as dentistry, lameness exams, dietary consultation, health exams/testing for her equine patients she was naturally called to incorporate her passion for wellness into her veterinary practice. Sarah became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture through Curacore, allowing her to pursue a pathway of improving health and performance through a multimodal approach to patient care. She then went on to add laser therapy and a chiropractic certificate from The Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre to her integrative wellness services.

Sarah believes that the patient should always come first and is dedicated to providing quality care to animals of all kinds and ages (although senior care is a particular love of hers). Whether you are looking to improve athletic performance or provide care for your aging companion, Sarah will work with you and your beloved pet to achieve your goals.
